  7.   Space Empires II is a strategic space conquest game for Windows. You
  8.   design and build your own starships based on the technological level
  9.   of your civilization. 1-4 human players and a slew of computer players
  10.   will oppose you in your reign. Can you bring your enlightened rule to
  11.   the entire galaxy? This is the challenge....

  17.   Machinations. The shareware version may be freely distributed so
  18.   long as no files are changed or omitted.  Malfador Machinations
  19.   retains the right to deny retransmission rights to anybody for any
  20.   reason.

  27. INSTALLATION OF SHAREWARE VERSION FROM ZIP FILE
  28.  
  29.   The shareware version of Space Empires II is distributed as a single
  30.   ZIP file. To install this version, you must:
  31.  
  32.       1.) Create a new directory (recommended name: se2)
  33.       2.) Copy the ZIP file to this directory
  34.       3.) Unzip the file, using PKUNZIP 2.04g or later
  35.       (usually done by typing: pkunzip se2v15.zip)
  36.       4.) Create a windows program item for SPACEMP2.EXE
  37.  
  38.   To create a windows program item, run Windows and select "New..." from
  39.   the FILE menu of the Program Manager.  Next select Program Item and
  40.   hit OK. Then use the BROWSE button to get to your new SE2 directory
  41.   and select the file SPACEMP2.EXE. Hit OK to select SPACEMP2.EXE, then
  42.   hit OK again to create the program item. You're all done! (This can
  43.   also be done through File Manager by selecting the file SPACEMP2.EXE
  44.   and dragging it to the program group in Program Manager where you want
  45.   to place it.)

  50.   Space Empires II is a game where Technology dictates your ship size and
  51.   the strength of your weapons. The shareware version of Space Empires II
  52.   provides Tech Levels 1-5. If you'd like Tech Levels 6-20, you need to
  53.   order the registered version of Space Empires II. With your registration
  54.   you'll receive the latest version of the registered version of Space
  55.   Empires II. You can also order the Strategy & Hints Guide which provides
  56.   detailed clues on how to win against incredible odds!

  59.   fill out the Order Form (file ORDER.DOC) and send it in to Malfador
